Here's Brett on a visit down south to San Diego. He calls these camera snaps "donkey kicks" and is always good for 3 or 4 of them every time I watershoot. This one got a little riley and almost took off the lens port.

James about to eat sand at his birthday party 2 years ago. I've yet to surf this shorebreak at full potential but am looking forward to it for Murdock's next birthday bash which has become a rather organized event.

Josh Ralph circa late 90's in the south 805. Josh is known for his explosive laughter, sea serpent bareback skills, and his disgustingly large mob truck.

This is a classic moment a few summer's back during a surf trip down south. On a callout from Roldan during the pre-dawn adventure, a couple 18 packs of Natural Ice were consumed to see who could handle their alcohol in the water. Well things escalated before the guys even got wet. Louie had a tough time making it down the cliff as seen here, James ran rampant naked around the beach and Ralph was left crying when Brett and Louie pegged him with a basketball-sized boulder from up top.

This rather absurd woman has become a fixture in Pismo during those busy, valley-infiltrated days during spring and summer. Her repertoire originally included ballet with a beach ball and a revealing one-piece, but now includes some eerily entertaining moves on her custom razor.

Gummo deserves a shot since he's getting married in two weeks. Word is that his 1 year old just got fitted for his tux and it looks to be an extremely good time. Congrats Joel, we'll be seeing his mug back in Cabo soon enough.

Ralph pulling into a little tube up north. Josh wears like a size 8 hat so its always hard to gauge the size of a barrel shot. He was wearing a ridiculous "Born to be Wild" shirt and quoting off lines from Grant McBride while pulling into barrels on this day.

Randall used to slap on all the big boys in the old California Circuit in the early '90's. Now he slaps on all the surf shops in Pismo and continues to throw nice moves like this.

This is a cool shot of Louie flying with the birds at a break just south of Pismo last winter. Louie was ripping this day like I've never seen with Chacon behind the lens.

This is the set from this past Thanksgiving that caught everyone by surprise. Terpening got the worst of this beast, luckily I was still videoing at the time.
