On my old work computer I had about 15 spots bookmarked all over the world with some really cool potential. My favorite was this little village in Africa, I think it was Sierra Leone, somewhere people don't exactly want to go to travel, but it was perfect point with waves just breaking one after another. There were all these little huts and shanties and fishing boats on the beach. It was pretty cool.

Some field work I do requires me to go out to some fairly remote properties and delineate wetlands and streams (which, obviously, are used as water supply for those grows). Usually I have 1 other person with me, but often its not even the property owner, just some consultant that is as vulnerable as I am out there. Had one encounter in Mendo, but it was a populated area, where every single parcel surrounding the parcel I was delineating had big grows happening. Got to the edge of the property and saw a guy tending his garden, and then he hustled away into his trailer home. I quickly departed.

I understand that "its from the earth" etc., etc., but when you just take, take, take, and leave all your sh*t behind, the results are gnarly.
