I am curious because a close friend of mine has just lost his state job and another got fucked (has been reduced to a 3 day work week).

For realz, I am sure there are some looking for a vacation that would pay to get some of what 40 degrees south gets all the time. Maybe that would pay him to show them around? I'd be emailing him right now if I could.
