Stoked on my 2 boys and the trip we just took.

thats cool....

...I'm stoked I finally got a 10 day vacation from work, been trying to get away from there for almost 3 years now. 3 years since a legitimate vacation that is, 4-5 day weekends don't count. Me and two of my kids went to Roswell, New Mexico camping for the 4th of July week. What a trip, lots of oddball stuff happened, it was quite the adventure....

Came back to lots of work at my day job (finally), and even 2 weeks of work at my per diem night job (40 hrs per week)....

Stoked that I can finally catch up on some bills and don't need to worry each Monday if I'm getting paid or not...

NOT STOKED ON MORNING WINDS WHEN THERE WAS SWELL THIS WEEK THOUGH....

the mail 2 days ago...my wife finally got her green card after 1 year of attorneys and headache, and a notice that our rent will be 100 bucks less starting in september!

Congrats you guys! What a weight off the shoulders, yeah.

My wife just cleared her interview abroad, for hers, and to return to the states after 2+ years of this shit.

Our first case (K-1) was denied and she was kicked out of the US last summer. Married, 6 month old kid, 9 year relationship, the whole thing. 13 months later we're STOKED to be getting our lives back.

Attorney set backs as well. Dick cost us an extra 4+ months of waiting that wasn't necessary. CA BAR is on his ass now to answer to all the BS he wouldn't come clean about with me. I smell a malpractice suit in the near future based on what he pulled : )

man thats crazy. Did you end up staying here while she was away or did you move out of the country! I've just been keeping my fingers crossed that I didn't have to move to nova scotia canada...way too cold for me.

I stayed here. The wife and son left together.
We expected a standard 6–8 month process. So with all our belongings and a dog, it seemed crazy to move abroad and then move back afterward.

Re: stoke thread

stoked on hiking one of the tallest peaks in the santa monica range just in time to see the sunset from the top, hiking back through the fog and darkness was insane. BIG spiders, a few bats, and some tarantulas.
